CFT Rizzardi S.r.l. has patented the CTR 40 PF, a new innovative tool changer that allows to maximize the efficiency and the speed of tool exchange, minimizing machine downtime. This system adapts the peculiarities of the “random” tool change mode to a “fixed position”: the tool placed in the magazine with adjacent empty places can be replaced without interrupting the exchange cycle as is the case in the systems currently on the market.

The patent has been designed to optimize the passive time of tool replacement and is mainly suitable for machines with high productivity or requiring frequent tool changes. Further advantages of this new system are versatility, compact size and speed of exchange.

In addition, it ensures greater precision and safety in the tool exchange process, reducing the risk of errors or damage to the tools themselves.
